December Favorites

As December came to a close, it was filled with moments that I'll cherish forever. From unforgettable views to cozy gatherings, here's a recap of some of my favorite things from the month.

  1. One of the most awe-inspiring experiences was standing at the top of the Empire State Building on a crisp winter evening. There's something magical about seeing the skyline from such a height, especially at night when the city feels alive with energy and possibilities.

  2. Another favorite moment was diving into The Latecomer, a book I absolutely couldn’t put down. Written by Jean Hanff Korelitz, this novel explores family dynamics with depth and complexity. The way Korelitz weaves together themes of identity, love, and regret made for a captivating read that I highly recommend.

  3. I spent time in New York City during Christmastime, which is nothing short of enchanting. From the towering Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center to the festive window displays at Macy's, the entire city feels like a holiday dream. There's an undeniable energy that fills the air, making it a perfect destination to experience the spirit of the season.

  4. Another highlight of my December was listening to Lisa Kudrow's episode on the Armchair Expert podcast. As a fan of her work, hearing her candid stories and reflections on her career and life was refreshing.

  5. Of course, what would December be without Christmas with friends and family? I’m so grateful for the laughter, love, and warmth shared with those I hold dear. The food, the gifts, and the heartfelt moments spent together reminded me of what truly matters.
