I moved into my new apartment back in July, and it’s been such a joy to decorate and settle in. Moving to a new place always brings a mix of excitement and anticipation—a fresh canvas filled with endless possibilities. I wanted my apartment to be a blend of coastal, modern, and minimalist vibes, but most importantly, I wanted it to feel like a true reflection of who I am. After many hours of unpacking, rearranging, and adding those special touches, I’m excited to share some of the progress I’ve made so far.

One of the things that initially drew me to this apartment was its open, airy layout. The seamless flow between the kitchen and the living area makes the space feel inviting and connected. To keep things light and welcoming, I chose a soft gray sofa and a neutral armchair, adding a few carefully placed (fake) plants for a touch of greenery. My bookcase is one of my favorite pieces—it’s not just for books, but also a spot to display personal mementos, from photos I’ve taken to golf gear I’ve collected over the years.

I was fortunate to bring in many pieces I had stored away, but I did update a few essentials, like the couch, armchair, and desk chair. The sleek kitchen countertop doubles as a breakfast bar, with comfortable seating for two—perfect for morning coffee or a quick meal. I’m always excited to share my love of photography through the artwork on my walls. While I’m still searching for a few new pieces and updating some older ones, I love seeing my photos on display throughout the space.

I like to keep my bedroom clean and simple. To me, creating a home is all about the little details that make it uniquely yours. I’ve turned a corner of my bedroom into a small display space on top of my dresser, featuring a minimalist jewelry stand and a framed print that reminds me of peaceful days by the beach.

From the cozy corners to the thoughtful details, this apartment has quickly become a place where I feel comfortable and inspired. It’s not just about finding somewhere to live; it’s about creating a home that truly reflects who I am and what I love. I can’t wait to continue adding to this space, making it even more my own over time.
